SM usually just puts their idols on hiatuses after something big happens, so he definitely might have did what he’s being charged of. This is such a big reality check for K-pop fans that idols or even anyone around you aren’t usually who you think they are or how they show themselves on camera. I work in the Entertainment Industry here in London, having written for and produced a lot of very, very well known jpop and kpop artists and bands for over 10 years. I work here in Uk but also the States, Japan and Korea.

Stop worshipping idols. My agency spends a lot of time and a ridiculous amount of money creating personas and cultivating carefully crafted images for these artists.

You really don't know any more about them than what we want you to. People are still people. Sadly.

I've worked with a lot of agencies both large and small, including "SM Entertainment" and its very unusual for them to not simply park an artist "on hiatus" while working out a strategy.

For Taeil to be dropped completely and so swiftly tells me that SM know a lot more than we do and they are trying to both get ahead of what's to come and distance their other artists from this scandal.

This is really bad and honestly not uncommon. 😡🇬🇧
