Aww congratulations!! Lydia I completely understand how you’re feeling. You want to be happy but you’re also scared of another miscarriage. I went through that as well and I always said I was cautiously happy. I miscarried my first baby then I got pregnant with my rainbow baby. I then became pregnant with baby number 2, 4 years later, and never had any issues, thank the lord! When it came to baby number 3 we thought everything was fine we got past the first trimester and announced to everyone I was expecting and I was even showing because let’s be honest it was really hard to hide lol. I went in for what I thought was a normal appointment only to have the dr not find the baby’s heartbeat. I lots that baby in the second week of my second trimester. We then thought we’d try 1 more time to then become pregnant with our second rainbow baby, technically our 5th baby. She’s currently a thriving 13 yr old. I know it’s hard to be excited and you’re protecting your heart but don’t let the sadness of your previous miscarriage overtake the excitement and joy of the news that you’re expecting. 💜

This is wonderful news! It is perfectly normal to have the feelings you shared regarding your previous miscarriage and now this pregnancy. One thing that helped me after mine is knowing that I had went through my first pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby boy. I just kept remembering that fact when I worried. I went on to be blessed with two more babies after my miscarriage. Two beautiful daughters! I look forward to meeting my baby in Heaven.

CONGRATULATIONS!! When I watched your Hawaii vacation and saw you posing by the water, holding your belly, and looking so joyful, I started praying for you and your baby! My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at about 10 weeks. I went on to have 3 healthy pregnancies in less than 3 years. they are all in their mid to upper 40's now with families of their own.
