After not being a big fan of Local Woman Missing, I think you might have sold me on giving her another shot.

I loved The Third Gilmore Girl - I got it from Audible, loved that she was narrating it. You will love it as well.
You had a great reading month.

Hi Gracie! I read a lot and have many recommendations to maybe help give you inspiration for more books. M Some nonfiction novel I highly recommend.
-The immortal life of Henrietta lacks by Rebecca skloot ( this black woman had her cells taken from her body and they multiplied outside of her body for over 50 years. She is the reason why we have the polio vaccine and many more!)
- Braiding sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer ( slight memoir but some history of native plants to native Americans it’s lovely)
-Finding Me by Viola Davis ( her life is very interesting and a fabulous audiobook)
- Paris: The memoir by Paris Hilton ( I know it doesn’t seem like it would fantastic but it’s pretty dang good and again the audiobook)

For fiction
-Kristin Hannah- historical fiction writer will probably make you tear up or cry
-Jodi Picoult- will hit you like a brick
The Wedding People by Alison Espach (a bit weird but just keep going and it turned into a lovely book)
-Taylor Jenkins Reid- (created some characters that are just so realistic and I just love her writing style ) (7 husbands log Evelyn Hugo )
- Red Rising by Pierce Brown (sci-fi)

2 great non-fiction books: Alan Alda's "If I understood you, would I have this look on my face?" and Adam Grant "Think Again".

You would really enjoy Ali Lowe's books. Mysteries set in Australia.

Okay The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires was our book club book this month and I had the same reaction. I knew the ending a few chapters in, but it was still such a weird book. The ending?!? So strange.

Hi Gracie! A fun YA Fantasy Duology that I've been enjoying is Dance of Thieves and Vow of Thieves! Check them out if you have time :)

I agree about narrators. A bad narrator can spoil the book and I do have a list that I won't listen to.
