School of Botanical Art & Illustration's 40th Anniversary

Denver Botanic Gardens’ School of Botanical Art & Illustration celebrates 40 years of beautiful, scientific art education. The school also celebrates the 30th anniversary of its certificate program.

In the coming years, the school looks forward to continuing its renowned scientific illustration courses while broadening the scope to include many other forms of botanical art.

Awesome video I would love to be in that class so therapeutic! thanks for sharing. Wish I still lived in Co.where the rest of my family is. Wheat Ridge originally. Unfortunately my very progressed inflammatory disease cannot handle 8 months of grueling cold weather&snow. Otherwise I would still be living there in a heartbeat!

What materials do you work with in the school? I'll have to share this video. I love to talk about botanical illustration. A lot of people don't know that it exists. We have working from photos we take at the gardens and we love to sketch on location with tiny folding camp stools. It does bring you such a sense of peace and connectedness.
