I have tinnitus and this sometimes triggers depression / anxiety. Either one of these issues can be hard enough to live with, but the two together feel so devastating. Earlier this year, the tinnitus got louder and that in turn pile drove me into the deepest hole I have ever been in. I felt like my life had been taken from me and that I was scratching around in dust trying to grasp at some sort of existence.
I discovered the Collingsworth family around the same time. I played this song and a few others that they do, over and over until I was able to climb out of the pit I was in. Their arrangements, harmonies and presentations grabbed me and for the few minutes each song lasted, I felt like I was in a slightly better place.
I have learned to live with the new level of tinnitus that I am experiencing and life is a lot better although I still have times of dispare. I have found a couple of other guys who also have bad tinnitus and knowing that others can live with it helps a lot. Keeping my mind active with woodworking and landscaping our home has also been a great help.

My go-to song when I'm low. This song was on repeat for the better part of the afternoon of 31/12/2022 ( new year's eve) On the same evening, A boat capsized killing 3 of my close friends who were on a mission 💔. Definitely not a good way to end or start a year🥺.
Got a chance to wish 2 of them a happy Sabbath that morning, but still there was no chance to say goodbye. I believe there's more to the story... Still great is is Faithfulness 🙏💙

One of the things I most appreciate about these videos that show the behind the scenes recordings of the songs is watching the different ways y'all approach singing while recording. I understand that on stage the way you sing has to be a fairly polished performance, but when you're in a recording studio, you can be a little more freeform. Watching how expressive Courtney was singing this one was great. It's just cool seeing each of your individual styles.

Can't hardly wait for it to come out. "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" is my favorite hymn. Thru all my 4 heart attacks, open heart surgery x 2 and cancer surgery HE has been faithful. Not one time HE never left me. From going to bed each night to raising out of bed each mornin HE has been there. I'm waitin for the day when I should see HIM face to face. Bless HIS Holy name!
