Dude. Porky Bickar was a friend of my dad’s. He had planned the volcano prank for years. Finally had a clear day of weather on April Fools’ Day. Called his helicopter owning friend and they flew the tires out to the mountain. Other Porky classics include: Putting up a commercially printed sign in front of a vacant lot that said “coming soon strip club and gambling room” or something like that. He used his construction equipment to place a boulder in from of a competitors business office, and he set up an a meeting between my dad and a corporation convincing the corporation that my dad was considering a multi million dollar purchase for conveyor belt. My dad was wined and dined for free in Seattle. Porky was a Southeast Alaska Legend in the 70s
