Maronites on Mission Philippines 2014 Promotional Trailer

Maronites on mission began when Fr Joseph, a priest from the Philippines who dedicates his time to Missionaries of the Poor, came to visit St Charbel's parish. Fr Joseph was overwhelmed with the generosity and friendliness that the parishioners showed and their dedication to the parish and the faith. He asked Fr Ronny if St Charbel's Parish would help their cause in the Philippines by organizing a group of volunteers with a few medical experts to go out on a medical mission.

Happy to be of assistance, Fr Ronny put together a group that consisted of two 4th year student doctors. The group worked towards raising funds for the mission, which was due to take place in January 2013.

Upon arriving from the Philippines, the group was inspired with the Holy Spirit to continue their mission in helping the less fortunate and from there Maronites on Mission has begun food van's in Wolloomoloo and Parramatta, and has just recently began home visits.

Following this trip another mission was organised, this time including 3 doctors, a nurse, a dentist, a dental student, a dental hygienist, 4 teachers and many other professional.
