Why are no people allergic to water?

We did a little research into this, and it looks like you can’t have an allergy to drinking it, but some people have a reaction to water touching their skin! It’s an extremely rare condition called aquagenic pruritus, where getting water on your skin (or even sweating, in some cases) can cause itching or discomfort.
