Candlelight vigil held for Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy killed in line of duty in Lake Elsinore

More than a thousand people attended a candlelight vigil Tuesday night for a Riverside County Sheriff’s deputy killed in the line of duty last week in Lake Elsinore.  

Deputy Darnell Calhoun, 30, was shot and killed on Jan. 13 while responding to a domestic violence call. Tuesday’s vigil for the slain deputy was held at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.  

"Darnel was that kind of man who came to work to protect people," Sheriff Chad Bianco said, adding that Calhoun was a selfless leader.

Riverside has lost too many officers over the years.. My heart goes out to those guys at the department. I’ve met a few while living in Riverside and they were always really good to me.. and I was a knucklehead

We are all living in contrary to the ALMIGHTY. If we don't degin to look into our selves individually the fight will become futile.

GOD put Law enforcement to do just as it says enforce the Law many have build negative thoughts and feelings towards law enforcement. Some are factoring race, past negative usage of law enforcement. etc
We live is a very selfish world and if someone can not trust himself he will not trust the Law enforcement.
I believe the police must not go for domestic situations alone, the situation is already hostile and anger is raised pride and ego may cause such person to exalt himself. MAY GOD REST HIS SOUL AND BLESS HIS CHILDREN AND WIDOW..
