I have a base model elantra and i gotta say she scoots better than u would expect

For the cmmenters in it being in eco mode...
Dunno if its the same with this car, but,
The skoda fabia rs i had also was possessed of eco and sport modes.
The straight line performance was exactly the same. Foot to the floor it would change at redline.
Where it was different was it would hold onto a gear longer when coming out of corners etc. it would change down more aggressively etc.
Actual straight line acceleration was identical however.

Wow, a 6.8 0-100. So it's like a 6.7 0-60 mph, so it can beat a civic si, it just needs a better than shown on tfl.

It doesn't matter if the footage is a demonstration. Nobody does a 0-60 run in eco mode. Think next time before pressing record.

The Australian interior is a bit nicer than US, rear AC, better color, etc, but still like it a lot. I wonder how fast the cars would be driving on the right side of the road :)?

Why would the braking difference be so large almost 2 metres ? I wouldn't think
the DCT would be that much heavier, also the brakes would probably be the same type ?
I doubt in a emergency stop situation you would have time to use the manual engine to help with braking
in under 3 seconds. How many runs with the braking did you guys do? Best of three I hope, because
was preferring the DCT but the 2 metre braking distance can prevent an accident or save someone's
life.

The exhaust sounds different to the American exhaust, same model but different sounds

Pretty good, throw an intake, dump pipe and tune on the DCT car and you'd have a unsuspecting little rocket.
