I like how I don't have to speed up the video, you already talk fast enough.

I believe the response times vary based on the color temperature. In any option but User Color, you get no inverse ghosting but in User Color, ultra fast provides inverse ghosting via UFO tests.

I'm sorry but you can't tell a 1ms increase when PureXP is on, you are making it seem like its a downside.

I somehow can't believe that you can really feel the additional 1.5 ms input lag when PureXP is activated

Hi, what monitor do you think is better for competitive FPS gaming: ViewSonic XG2431 or AOC 24g2ZU.
I can't decide what to get because im not sure which one perform better in terms of Input lag, ghosting, reverse ghosting and response time

Hopefully there comes a 27 inch 1440p 240hz blur busters certified version. But I am grabbing this one for my new 7800x3d build this week.

If you use CRU to create a custom QFT for the monitor you can get 60hz with no flicker on the monitor. Not sure it doesn't come out of the box like this.

How does this compare to the benQ xl2411k? I’m a competitive call of duty gamer. Motion blur and input lag are equally important.

I'm thinking about upgrading from 240hz AOC VA 27 curved panel to a backlight strobing 240hz panel. Is it worth the upgrade?

If so, I found the most afordable options : viewsonic xg2431 vs asus tuf vg259qm.

Which one has better strobing tech/overall better monitor? I read somewhere that the veiwsonic is too dim but is more sharp. Im not sure which one to choose.

I did end up purchasing this monitor cause in my region no other alternative were available except for Benq ex240 which was priced just slightly below xg2431.

Since this is my first monitor (upgrade from a laptop display) there are literally no complaints except for loss in pixel density and clarity.
I have no problem using even the ultra mode of PureXP. The brightness is adequate when I turn off the lights and use thick curtains.
Though without purexp I feel the monitor becomes slightly more snappier. Like the response time or I guess input lag becomes even less.
The colors are fine but it's not that good for games where there would be lot of blacks (atleast on default settings, are there any settings I can tweak? do recommend me)
Overall I'll give 4.5/5 to this monitor.

I bought the 25-inch Samsung Odyssey G4. I was planning to buy the XG2431 but in my country (Chile) it never arrived..

I am actually very nervous about my upgrade from 75hz to 240hz, and I am scared of strobbing tech input lag and low brightness.
I play with my lights turned on in order to not hurt my eyes, but also scared of what really low brightness means.
My options are
MSI Optix MAG251RX
ViewSonic XG2431
Asus TUF Gaming VG259QM
ASUS ROG STRIX XG259CM
AOC G2 24G2ZU
Which of these could offer me the lowest end to end response time?

hello I have a question. I couldn’t find the monitor in my country but I found the same one but the difference is it says that its 1ms instead of 0.5ms is there a very big difference?

For reference, which color profile did you use when doing the response times testings? Native color profile paired with the Ultra Fast response times mode leads to the best possible response times for the XG2431 (as seen through the Rtings review) It's unfortunate that the best OD mode is locked behind a color preset.

even with the bad reviews would you still recommend this monitor?

I mainly play apex where shit gets hectic do you believe having the pure xp option on is worth using even with the increase in response time? Would appreciate a response been looking for a monitor for a while I mainly play FPS but mainly apex tbh so I want a monitor that is best suited for a game like apex legends.

I have a question if you were to choose between the ViewSonic XG2431 and Dell 27 Gaming Monitor - G2723H which would you buy?

on the user manual it mentions the 0.5ms MPRT, i cant find the said mode anywhere the the OSD. Only the response time which says ultra fast.
