This is why it is best for the gachatubers to link accounts that is theirs in their about me, accounts they have (and are comfortable with sharing) and to let their viewers know what apps they use and upload on and what they don’t upload on, another smart thing to do is have a watermark that shows what apps they upload on, if it is only YouTube they upload in then they could have a watermark like this “@(YouTube username) Only On YouTube” maybe even link their stuff they upload in in the description in the video also. Anything to let their viewers know.

I created this rant/commentary to spread awareness on impersonation, it’s dangers/threats and also a prevention method

Note that:using the OC(pomni) on my video does not imply that the character was impersonated(not that I’m sure of) but I wanted the thumbnail to be colorful, hence, I used her as an example to show what I mean

I hate impersonation as it can be problematic and people do it for malicious intent to harm or to bully someone
