Republicans make MASS EXODUS From RADICAL MAGA Party and share why WITH US Part 7

Normal Republicans are being pushed out of the GOP in droves. They are being labeled ‘RINOs’ and ‘traitors’ by a fascist MAGA movement that bears no relation to conservatism. Many of these Republicans will be voting BLUE! These voters shared their stories with us on Twitter and YouTube. This is Part 7 of our series. This report brings tears to my eyes. I've lost so many friends and family to MAGA. I'd lost hope in our country & have only stayed in the US because of my wife & immediate family. My spirit had been crushed by what I've witnessed since Trump. These ex-GOP comments have given me renewed hope.

I was a lifelong Republican. I left the party about one month after Trump took office. I could not tolerate what he represented nor how he acted. I registered as a Democrat and have voted straight blue since then. I refuse to give my business to any company I know supports Trump and his henchmen! I found Trump's bragging about how great he is SO distasteful that at the age of 55 I got a tattoo that says "we can do no great things, only small things with great love!" (Mother Theresa quote - & I'm not even Catholic!) I wanted it as a permanent mark on my body as opposition to the evil

In 2014, I was a Dittohead and Glenn Beck fan, when it hit me that NONE of the alarmism they had spouted had come to pass. I liked Obama, and under him, things had improved. Same thing had happened under Clinton. Fancy that. Decades of being a Republican who “agreed with the party except for (——)” had left that list longer and longer until I finally “came out of the closet” as a liberal. Doing that made me realize what a cult the GOP had become. I have lost friends and family over it, but my only regret is not doing it sooner. Democracy is in danger, we must crush MAGA for our children and grandchildren.

Was a republican until the 2000 election. After what happened with the election votes in Florida, I just couldn’t condone it. Seemed extremely unfair. I’m also a disabled veteran. Been voting blue ever since. After 2020 (and the previous 4 years!), I can’t imagine how anybody could vote for tRump or anyone who supports him and his rhetoric. I’m so afraid I’m going to see the end of the great experiment…

I was raised in a very conservative family and area. Southern Illinois. I got discouraged in 1999 about our voting system. So I went into the military and stopped voting. I was discouraged when Trump got the office in 2016. I accepted it though. Then 1/6 happened. I registered and voted all blue early for the first time since 1999. I've destroyed friendships and family connections doing to right thing. Vote blue. Bad stuff happens when good people do nothing.

My brother in-law was a hardline republican for 30+ years but it took trump's mishandling of COVID for him to switch. Thankfully, family/health means more to him than party lines. & I should be happier about it but frankly any human with a heart couldn't be a republican after all that.
