I saw them perform together in Manchester NH 2004. It was the first time I saw Chicago and realized how many hits they had. The two groups working together had people up dancing for almost 4 hours well into the night.

Pretty crisp.. I love Chicago but didn't think they could pull this one off. They did.. I too like the key change. Pumps the tune up at just the right time. Both EWF and Chicago are examples of when music was real and bands had the talent to actually play at this level... Check out some of the live versions.

I had the treat of hearing them with they both toured together WOW 10 years ago, it was awesome, and concert goers were asked to bring in canned food for the local food pantries, and if you did you got a card with this song, and EWF doing Wishing you were here and one they did together. I wasn't surprised at how well they did on this song, with Roberts' voice and the horn section <3 EWF/Chicago

Very few groups could cover EWF on this track... Chicago is one of them... the two groups made a hell of a horn tag team on that tour.

Love Chicago. Nice version, but to me it shows once again what a GENIUS MAURICE WHITE WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE.
The production, arrangment and horns on the original is so far superior and more complex that its so obviously missing in the track.
Add Maurice's vocals that cannot be touched, and you have a great group of musicians sounding ok.

I love Chicago for all the right reason. BUT to redo this is 
It LOST the feeling and sounds like they are trying WAY too hard. DAMN....some people don't know how to stay in their lane.
