It's kinda crazy to think that if we had a time traveller that was able to check 2 future timelines: one where are all AI companies leadership and inverstors die, and one where they just keep going, the result would probably be the wolrd ending eventually on the second and probably a pretty decent world on the first

I would want to see that the effort, costs, and environmental impacts would be dwarfed by the humanitarian good that this level of AI usage would created. If it’s to write term papers and make photos of children holding puppies in boats after storms, we’re all good.

This math here makes no sense. Why would it need 2-300 new nuclear power plants? If one power plant =1GW of power and they need 5 GW... then 5 new nuclear power plants is what it would take, I don't think Miami has hundreds of nuclear power plants.😅 what am I missing here?
