Gay Straight Alliances have given youth a safe place to find solidarity and friendship through the tough years of adolescence. How has something that offers inclusion and community for kids become so controversial in Alberta? Should all schools have the same requirements for allowing GSAs to exist? We all want to assume that kids in any home, from any culture and religion would have the support of their family, but even in supportive homes, some LGBTQ kids aren't ready to open up to their family about their sexuality. This documentary explores the issue from the perspective of those who have experienced what it's like to be alone -struggling with their identity as young people. Let's open up the conversation and learn how we can work together to support all kids -no matter who they are
