personally from my experience when it comes to shopping for dolls at flea markets if a seller refuses to let you go through a bin before buying it then stay away from it at *all* costs!!. more than likely they are hiding the fact that the dolls are either very damaged or missing many pieces. a similar thing happened to me when I bought a box full of Bratz dolls once ( that the seller refused to let me go through before making the purchase) and i came home to find out that they all either had really bad sun damage, smelled like cigarettes, or had terribly cut hair and cut up outfits. needless to say this happens a lot unfortunately and you’re not alone!

I don't get how kids treat their dolls like this. My MH dolls were my literal babies when I was 6-11. I'm so proud of myself for keeping them in literal mint condition, because I have some ones that are worth a bit now. Even my barbies, who I didn't like as much, were never broken or had cut hair.

frankies hair isn’t cut, her stock style is that half up half down thing but that was around the time when mattel started giving dolls random ass layers

I honestly think a couple dolls with cut hair could be hidden pretty well. Like the cut hair on that ghoul spirit Frankie doesn’t look so bad, same with a few of the other dolls.

Using a handheld steamer to clean and fix hair is a life saver for the ghouls alive dolls

The lot is actually amazing. You are very lucky to own it. You just need to fix the dolls. I would be in heaven and work on them for weeks to come. 2 $ a doll...even a doll without hands and no hair at all is worth more than that. And some of the dolls you have there are worth so much more and they have most of their stuff. It is amazing find!

I love doll lots like these because I'm a customizer (I would be so excited to find a Sweet Screams Abbey with the arms still!) but when you're hoping for complete dolls then big bins like this can be a real gamble.

I mean being that it was two dude’s I’m sure they didn’t know or was fully aware of what some of the dolls conditions were, most guys don’t really pay attention to details especially if it’s not something that interests them. So they assumed that whatever that appeared missing was probably in the bottom. I highly doubt that they took it upon themselves to look at each one individually. Overall it was a pretty good fined & you’ll make your money back in no time!

ForClaudine I recommend using a damp paper towel or wet wipes and for her hair I recommend using hairspray conditioner or conditioner and just never take it out and maybe brush it out and maybe it will be better

I'm not a super big fan of aliexpress but I've had a lot of flea market MH dolls and I've found a lot of hands on ali . I'ts nice bc you can just colourmatch and there are a lot to choose from!
