Gyvazla Lav Mic Review | Cheap Lav Mic vs iPhone 🎙

Today we review + sound test the $20 Gyvazla 3.5mm lavalier microphone aka lav mic aka lapel mic, and compare it to the iPhone 8 Plus's built-in mic. Best practice from what I've researched so far on being a YouTuber, quality audio is a higher priority than quality video.

The question we're trying to answer here is -- is a $20 cheap lav mic already an upgrade vs the built-in mic on your phone, or should you invest in a higher quality, more expensive mic?

PS I'm using the lav mic by the end of the video in case you were wondering.

My external mic came today from Lazada. Although it's cancelling the noise out, my voice quality has lost its bass when compared to the built-in mic on my Android. Is it supposed to do that? Hehe. I'm figuring out if I can play with the settings of the external mic input. Looking for an app to do this. Either that or the mic I bought just doesn't have good quality. lol!
