Thank you so much for using the most commonly used controller examples (no paddles, strike pack, configs, whatever). I do use paddles but only 2 (interact and heals) because my hands don't want to learn more. These are easy and authentic tips EVERY controller player could and should learn to incorporate.

THE only thing you really need in apex is mid fight air strafes forward and backwards so the enemy can not track you easily & bunny hop around the corner to heal. The rest doesn't really help you win fights but looks cool and you have more fun while playing

Quick tip on the zip line interaction, you don’t have to keep clicking to interact instead you can hold it to make this trick a lot easier on controller

For helping with wall jumping off low objects like boxes that aren’t as tall and you accidentally grab when trying to wall jump, you can implement a side movement (pushing your stick left or right)as you hit the wall, it will stop you from grabbing and you can jump as normal to get your wall bounce

On smaller surfaces as you slide jump towards them pull your movement stick back away to cancel out the mantle if you notice that you’ll possibly do so and you’ll wall bounce normally same with the fatigue bounce and as far as that goes you waste your initial jump and you’ll be in a state which is called fatigue where you won’t jump as high as your first initial jump, (you’ve might’ve seen a lot of pro players do it which is called b-hopping which is having your crouch on hold to be able to keep crouch active while timing your jump just perfect to create forward momentum without actually having to sprint) after going into the state of fatigue you have less than a sec literally to jump onto and off of the wall creating a fatigue wall bounce. Just wanted to let peeps know, since those are one of the few tips I thought was helpful when I learned but he covered a lot of the basis on everything else. Superglide are really tough jump first ever so slightly followed up by your crouch immediately. Keep it up bro🙏🏽💯 Keep up the grinding promise it’ll pay off 💯Also I learned everything before I decided to use paddles, swapping a few buttons in game and learning claw for better accuracy and gameplay (my preference) 🙏🏽🙏🏽patience always wins the race.

Pro tip, TURN YOUR JUMP BUTTON TO LB or L1. Weird at first but i'm telling you it helps so much.

You don’t get fatigue wall bounces 100% of the time because you’re doing them incorrectly or at least if I understood your explanation in the video correctly then that’s what I suspect. Their needs to be a jump or landing before jumping into the wall. After the slight fatigue or slowed movement from first touching the ground, you’re then allowed 1 too 2 steps to jump again and when you touch the wall jump again and then you will get the wall bounce affect.

Might be weird for many, but I switched my jump with the left bumper. Takes time getting accustomed to, but a lot of movement is easier in controller doing this

Im very bad at remembering to wall bounce, like even after watching a vid of a guy using it on a building to suprise a guy an the roof who was ready to shoot them i emded up in the same situation but didnt wallbounce and died. Like its such a small thing, using it throughout the match and just practicing between fights and during rotations is so simple but important. Actually gonna try to use them more often even out of fights, same with superglides

Highly highly recommend jump as l1/lb. It’s strange to learn I know, but it’ll help with super glides, bunny hopping and super jumps. Also run crouch as r3. It’ll help so much.

For superglide just bind ur sliding on R1
