A beautiful, yet sad song by Radiohead. I interpret this song as a warning - that if you succumb too much to the 9-to-5 lifestyle, you'll end up with a pretty house and a pretty garden, but the sacrifice you have to make is working a boring job that slowly kills you as well. I guess I'm lucky in that respect - I have a job, but it's only 30 hours, and together with my wife's income we earn enough to live in a part of Britain that doesn't charge the arse off you 😂😜
