People talk a lot about Kobe’s work ethic but let’s not forget that Michael also worked very very hard to get where he was then.

I ain’t NEVER heard a player say they are getting in better shape just for one specific team. MJ came for blood.

That shot at the end of 3 pistons on all sides of Jordan while scoring or attempting to score is legendary. Long live the G.O.A.T.

The great thing is that MJ never made excuses and took defeat with grace.

you can see he gets up every time and doesn’t cry, but knows to get better and stronger to be better next time.

Dude got stronger and still kept his explosiveness. He’s the goat, the other self proclaimed one would cry against such physicality and plot to switch side and form another super team 😂

Bad Boy Pistons played like some NFL team back then.

Jordan's facial expressions while lifting, were also the thing of legend.

Bro really bodied Bill Laimbeer and stayed upright 😂

MJ was the blueprint, he adapted and overcame which resulted in dominance. Kobe learned from the Master and utilized the lines drawn which directed his path. There could never be others who did it like they did.

I really don’t think people understand how dope basketball was back then. I’m not even a basketball “fan” like that but I was even into it. 💯🏀

I love how people (millennials) say that that era was weak and full of plumbers. Let me tell you something, I grew up in that era and it was ridiculous talent then. The way Jordan was limping in the video was just a sample of coming into the paint. The motto back then was "come into the lane, you're gonna get pain". There was ALWAYS someone draped on you, hand checking you, pushing or pulling your arm when you went to shoot or clobbering you when you went inside. This were common fouls in my time. I lifted just like he did just to be ready for certain teams. I did NOT want anyone to have any advantage over me at all! I'm still like that and I'll be 47 this year. I need to be ready to go at any time, anywhere. I'm wired just like Mike and Kobe, I promise you. Just wasn't as blessed as they are/ were with their talents. But I did alright on my level lol.

MJ was highly competitive to begin with and having the help of Tim Grover to further train his mindset and body made MJ even more competitive.

Unlike Leflop, MJ didn't complain. Just made it a point to get back at his tormentors. That's the GOAT for you.
