I store mine with the filler cap up, that helps a lot with the leakage problem. I took mine hunting with me again this year. I kept an all day camp fire and a overnight wood stove completely stocked with wood left over for 10 days on one 6 amp hour battery. I also only run veg oil in it so I can use it for processing a moose quickly. They are also very quit so perfect for a hunting camp or cutting when you don't want to wake up or alarm your neighbors.

Home Depot had this on clearance for $90. Looking forward to using it for pruning and breaking down branches. Easier than my gas powered one for wife to use too.

I put mine in a backpack to go hiking and clear trees off the trails. Have even done that mtn biking, but you have to be a bit careful riding.

In the last hour I used it to fill 1 5gal bucket, 1 copy paper box, 2 40gal garbage cans with firewood. Also several larger logs that need to be split.
My house will be warm all night.
I used 4oz chain oil and 1 bar on a 5amp battery.

My Dewalt pole saw is great too but it leaks bar oil too like this one. I’d like to pick one of these ones up for a nice lightweight saw

I've had mine for 3 or 4 years. I have bucked a 10" ash tree with it with only 2 5ah batteries just so i didn't have to hear the gas saw. It's not fast and i have overheated it in he summer time working it way too hard. It just works and with a sharpened chain it will make chips slowly but steady😂. I store mine with the oil fill port up and it barely leaks now.

I really like battery operated chainsaws this size. I have a 10, 12, and 14 inch Greenworks for this size jobs.

Update changed the chain and it works much better. I noticed it goes through the bar oil really fast so I do have to keep an eye and constantly replenish it to keep from dulling the chain.

I boght a powerful Sthill 251 which is almost impossible to start because of the high compression. It lies unused in the shed while I use a Dewalt battery model.

I had a Ryobi that was the same size. Those battery powered saws are great. Need to get a new one.

There is a very good video on the bar oil leak problem. Google it. You have to take the saw apart and use a good gasket caulk. Don’t be scared to use a lot. Fixed mine.

Have a DeWalt 16" DCM 575 chainsaw. Really liked it until after a year it give up. Had to get a new motor luckily under warranty. But also the 54v 12ah battery gave up and also the fast charger. Very disappointed. Will not buy DeWalt again. Maybe go for Milwaukee or Stihl.
