Kids and parents are eager to return to summer camps after a year of virtual learning, but many camps across the country are struggling to find enough workers to operate normally. How are you going to do a story about a labor shortage in this industry without mentioning, or even QUESTIONING, the compensation for said labor?!?! The bullcrap excuse made by the guy, they just didn't want to "spread their wings" at camp? Gitdafuqouttahere... How much you wanna bet that IF they pay em what they're WORTH, they'll show up, international or domestic.

Everyone's saying these camping businesses prefer bringing in cheap foreign labor. But here's the deal. If the two featured camp counselors are representatives, that means most of them are from UK, Ireland, EU, Aus, Can, where wages are actually higher than in the US. No, these overseas camp counselors aren't coming here for the money, but for travel and experience . . . which does go back square one.

You want employees to come work? Pay them more that what they earn from the EDD.
