This is so true, I tell any of my friends that want to speak a new language to do this so they can sound more intelligible when speaking their desired language. I personally have a Japanese friend who I talk to and they help me with pronouncing words that are difficult for Americans to say and they're definitely one of the reasons why I'm still motivated to learn Japanese and why Ive improved so much with my accent.
