Just a quick note to thank you for sharing this video. I am prototyping some fairly long boards (~400mm) that won't fit in my toaster oven and stumbled upon your design. Hopefully I can cobble together something that works as well as your setup.

Nice oven. I even like the case you used - very slick.

Hi Paul, On the new oven, what is the smallest size of the components you solder? Do you go to 0402?
Do you have Issues with small parts blowing off the boards due to the fan (which looks to be moving quite a bit of air). Out of curiosity - have you run any tests to see if you have hot spots from the air not being uniformly blown across the boards? One toaster oven guy claimed 17 degrees edge to center differential and said professional ovens claimed 5... Maybe the fan makes a bunch of turbulent flow and the heat is really uniform...
Nice work by the way! Very impressive to think outside the box rather than mod a toaster oven / convection oven. I love the way you have attacked the fume extraction problem.

Hi Paul, a few questions for you here if you have time: 1. what is the dimensions of the interior of your oven? 2. What is that blue sleeve where the air vent goes through the size, at about 2:31? 3. Was your modification of the air vent simple and reproducible by an idiot like myself? 4. How thick did you go with your insulation? Looks about 2" (Perhaps you mentioned in the video and I missed it)
