I am still amused that Leslie so desperately wanted to Payton to be on a competition team with girls that were way younger than her! 🤷🏼‍♀️ It is clear that Payton belongs on a competition team with girls her own age and skill level.

payton was definitely set up to be made to look like a bad person but she’s not. there have been a few times where she’s said something out of line but overall she was set up. she’s 14 and she’s expressing her opinions/feelings more openly which is what starts happening more at 13/14 years old. she’s smart mouthing because she’s more aware that the treatment Abby gives everyone is completely unnecessary, disrespectful and unfair. the only thing i do think Abby was right about was calling her out when she said she thought she did better than everyone else. payton didn’t have to say that. she could’ve just said “i think i did well. everyone did really well.” not saying she’s better but just saying that she did well like the other girls.
