Organizations have invested heavily in IT security, attempting to fortify their perimeter, network, endpoint and application protections. Despite these investments, hackers are successfully penetrating these defenses and are targeting enterprise data, including backup data.
When backup data – the last line of defense – is compromised by an attack such as ransomware, critical workloads can’t be recovered, thus jeopardizing application uptime. In other words, when data is compromised, applications can go down.
Unfortunately, legacy backup systems are not up to the task of protecting this data. During this presentation, we’ll explore Rubrik Security Cloud, a platform based upon the principles of a NIST Zero Trust Architecture, which provides an end to end solution for data security to ensure you have the ability to not only recover, but perform the forensic analysis needed to determine blast radius, potential sensitive data compromise and the ability to contain the threats.
