I’m pretty sure the Geneva convention didn’t have anything to do with knives. While they are occasionally used as weapons, they are more frequently a tool.

For anybody who’d like a little more info on what this guy has basically entirely incorrect:

The Geneva Conventions wouldn’t have really covered trench knives - they mostly covered the treatment of the people themselves, this (tacky modern version) was not the type of trench knife that is considered infamous anyway, the early triangle or spike bladed trench knives are often said to be banned, however.

The Hague Conventions were the ones that designated weapons to be inhumane, but they don’t make any mention of triangular or spiked blades, or trench knives in general for that matter.

Triangular Trench Knives faded out because they were poorly made, had only one practical use, and often broke.

Whatever this is in the video, is a mall knife, and isn’t banned by anything but select jurisdictions for nebulous reasons that have nothing to do with war, or effectiveness as far as anybody is concerned lol. Skip this thing.

Now that's a balisong that's made for fighting. The sheer size and girth of that thing also comes with serrations and a handguard/knuckles. Only con is tricks are very limited
