Actress Michelle Yeoh, who rose to fame in Hong Kong action films and gained international attention as a "Bond girl," is a frontrunner for an Oscar nomination for her performance in the trippy "Everything Everywhere All at Once." She talked with correspondent Seth Doane about her performance in the multi-layered role, and what it means for her to be riding high on a career wave at age 60.

As a woman almost 70, I think she does not realize what a treasure she is to all women over 60. I love that she is still kicking A at her age. I bought the digital copy as soon as it was available. This is what an Oscar performance looks like. I love her being the star. It is so right.

That's where she made it big, talented, action, drama, comedy she can do it all. From then on, she never looked back, just kept going forward. Michelle deserves an Oscar for her role in Everything, Everywhere ALL at Once. Or a Lifetime Achievement Award at least. Asians are so proud of her and an inspiration to us. We love her whether she wins an Oscar or not.
