Just a heads up, you don't really want to break bolts loose with a torque wrench, they are made for tightening only. I'd recommend a breaker bar. Also, to get the stuck bit out just flip the switch on the wrench and apply a small amount of pressure going the opposite direction, it'll come loose with no issues.

Was loosening the preload necessary to pull the other crank arm off? Otherwise, great video showing how simple this is and also showing that (newer?) cranks self-extract on the drive side instead of all the videos I've watched of it being on the opposite and requiring pulling the entire crank out of the BB to install a chainring.

Did you need to take out any links in the chain since you dropped from 34T to 32T?

what is the offset of that chainring? i plan to change mine also sram nx crank.

Ugh! Oval chainrings. AGAIN. They sucked the first time around. Can’t spin right. Maybe they’ll be ok for people who don’t care about climbing or spinning on the flats. 🤷‍♂️. I hated them.
