I think alot of people in the comments don't realize this is calculated through various sensors. WHP is a different story.

GOOD numbers by the way! I have a 6.4 and most I've seen from my on-board charts is 515hp, on the dyno it made 430whp.

does the computer calculate hp based on torque rpm and accel? I know these cars measure flywheel torque so that must be it

I learned how the thing calculates your HP. It does a lot of complex math. You can calculate your HP based off vehicle weight and your quarter mile time. Im not 100% sure the equation but its possible.
