Interesting video, and I can understand your confusion. I'm a developer and I watch your videos for tips on freelancing. I get good value from the content, and your coach may feel that you're not benefitting from it but im sure you will. I watch other channels like The Futur, which is an agency based in LA and they give out free advice for designers. This gives the impression that they are experts at their craft and as a result, get new clients that way. I hope that you will be able to find a balance, and get back something for what you give :)

I can understand what your coach means. If your mission is to help freelancers though, sometimes a product isn't always the right thing. They might not be ready for it yet.

A lot of times people would love to talk with you and get advice so maybe consulting. Or some kind of workshop/course where you walk people through your client process so it's coaching one to many in a sense. I know you mentioned you're not interested in courses but it could be a way to help many on specific problems they have. You could always put your own spin on it too.
