When You Fall in Love With Re Zero Once Again Thanks To This Discovery

Since we are still in the void while waiting for the Re Zero Season 3 Announcement. I've been reading the Light Novel Version of Re Zero recently and I made a discovery that I've never seen someone mention before. Thanks to this discover I found all new respect for Tappei-sensei for writing this quality series. He hid something in front of us this entire time and I doubt many know about this. Thanks to this hidden detail I fell in love with Re Zero again!

Made a discovery on Re Zero and felt I should share. I've never seen people talk about this... so I wanted to talk about it.

The greatest trial Subaru will ever face is himself. The "if" routes show how many times he can easily become the worst version of himself with a simple yes or no choice. His doubts will be the greatest enemy that will determine if he stands with those people or not.

The author once said that Subaru will only be appearing on the cover of the final volume, and with what you just said about him not feeling worthy it feels just so much deeper.

It's melancholy (pun intended) to see how Subaru sees himself unworthy to stand among his friends and foes, but It's nice how he has so much respect for them in that way. If we ever do get a cover with Subaru on it, it will be an insane part of the story.

I noticed Subaru missing by around the 5th or 6th cover, but I also noticed something else. The way almost everyone is looking at the reader. It is almost as if it is the way Subaru imagines them looking at him: As these amazing people who he is not worthy of. But he can't help looking at them all the same because he wishes he could be.

Me overanalysing: Well the "Re" from Re:Zero or Re:ゼロ highlight a different color which most of the times connects with a specific character from that volume, also when we shift from volume 20 to volume 21 the "Ze" or "ゼ" gets highlighted meaning we are going forward in the story.

I am not a web nor light novel reading but seeing these new characters, and their awesome designs is getting me hype for some greatness I have yet to witness. I think I'll be going pure anime, but I'll probably end up reading the light novel. If I do end up reading the light novel, it will be my first ever.
