Artist Check-in with Alisa Weilerstein

Alisa Weilerstein is one of the world’s most in-demand cellists, and Elliott Forrest recently caught up with her for a few minutes. Alisa spoke with Elliott about her recent projects, including "Fragments," a groundbreaking, multi-year project for solo cello that weaves together the 36 movements of Bach’s solo cello suites with 27 newly commissioned works. She also discusses her upcoming performance with the San Diego Symphony at Carnegie Hall on October 13th at 8 pm.
