Christian churches also invite everybody in, but they will not allow someone to come in and change or blaspheme the word of God. I attend a small church in east TN and it doesn’t matter who walks in the door they are greeted in the same way. The also hear the message that the Holy Spirit wants them to hear because that’s how church should work. Our preachers try to prepare through the week by seeking God and coming up with a game plan. Most days though the Holy Spirit comes in and guides them and they put their preparation to the side and do what he guides them to do.

Smoking cigarettes is not what I would address with someone who does not know God. Sure it's not great for the body. Sugar is bad too. Are all of y'all who judge smoking also free from sugar, GMOs, dangerous medications, etc? Address the heart first and let the Holy Spirit convict the smoking if in fact it is a sin. It's not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man but what comes out of it.

I liked that prayer and last conversation. I too smoke and hate what I do. Though, it's still wrong and true repentance is turning away from our sins, not turning from God's Word.
