So there’s a scam going around on Amazon where people buy a gpu take the chip out and return it then Amazon resells it. That could be it.

lucky you didnt get a suicide gpu, watched a youtube vid of someone who damaged his entire pc, the gpu was fake, its fans were powered on by the electricit from the hdmi/dp/vga cable and people mistook that the gpu was actually working

Well... the graphics card is from 2004, so maybe you have to turn off the onboard video first 😂
