Circuit Breakers - How they Work, What's Inside

A look inside a typical circuit breaker or MCB.
These particular ones are made by Crabtree, but most others will be similar inside.

These were removed from an installation after being damaged by a water leak, however there is no real evidence inside of why some of these stopped working - they all have continuity through them now.
