My favourite ‘funky jacket’story. Is that I brought this cream, burgundy and green floral jacket from an antique store. Brought it home and realised it matched the material on our dining room chairs- EXCACTLY. These chairs are like 100 years old and have been in my boyfriends family his whole life- it’s wild

I would dye the skirt to burgundy or olive green :) olive green would be nice in summer and in fall. You will have so much use out of mary janes and shoulder bag - I feel like your wardrobe was missing neutral acessories like that from watching other videos of cours :) the mary janes don't look weird, but you might try different shoe laces, maybe something fun like ribbons would be more you.

I found my dream coat at the thift store last year for $40, but it was so worth it. Vintage ankle-length collared deep green coat made of 90% wool and 10% cashmere. The coat is so fluid and keeps me toasty warm even in -30° C winter weather we have in Canada. It straddles the line between masc and femme style perfectly, which I love as a mostly masc-leaning lesbian. I get compliments every single time I wear it out! Similar coats sell for 1-2k, so it was definitely worth the $40 plus 30 for dry cleaning!

I think you could dye the chambray skirt dark brown or dark purple (I have both in my wardrobe), which may not sound super versatile, but with the colors you already have in your wardrobe and other autumnal colors, you’d be surprised how much you can style with them!

I think the mary janes have a smaller profile than your usual chunky shoes! Worth exploring imo.

The blue skirt you want to dye…I would go at it with a lilac colour. That way the existing blue will pull it closer to indigo and I think that would be a beautiful summer-to-fall colour!
