I made a cave with pond expanding foam like this over a PVC pipe. It looks fantastic, but getting it to sink was unreal. I carved it down to a fraction of what I originally used, attached it to a 5 pound piece of slate, and it was still floating! I had to attack a suction cup to the slate and attach that to the bottom of the tank and bury it under sand to keep it down. The piece looks great, but I’d never use expanding foam for a cave again just because of the hassle.
