Sofia Metro - Metrovagonmash train 81-717 after modernization

Riding on the first modernized train type 81-717 in the underground railway in Sofia (Metropoliten) from Slivnitsa station to Vardar station on the line 1 (M1).
In 2019 a campaign for modernization of those trains has been started with the sending of two trains to the manufacturer - Metrovagonmash (MVM) in Mitischi, RU. The modernization of the two trains was completed pretty fast and they were send back to Sofia in May 2020. Currently two more trains are sent for modernization and the plans are in the near future all of the trains from this type to be modernized.

Good video. The modernization was done well. The train has bright and friendly colours inside. You can see where new ends of the driver cabs have been fitted to the existing body of the carriages. Good design.
