I had the first 3 generations of the M5 yes I’m that old lol . The E28 E34 & E39 all magnificent light, powerful and unbelievable handling steering feel and build quality second to none . Modern BMW’S alas just don’t hold any attraction to me whatsoever and in any sports car weight is crucial as is feed back from steering and electrionic steering replacing hydraulic steering just disconnects driver From the car no feedback this car weighs over a ton heavier than my previous 3 M5’s and as far as looks and build quality goes, oh dear

Why is it currently impossible to design a dash that doesn't look like someone forgot about the infotainment screen so they said just slap a tablet on the dash and call it a day?
