For anyone in the US, Perspex is called Plexiglass (1/8" grey tinted plexiglass). If you had trouble finding it, that may help.

Just found your channel. Awesome videos. Looking forward to making some of these projects.

Oh, and on the first corner of Brands Hatch, try breaking a straight breaking line down the middle of the straight and turn in for a slightly later apex just before you run out of road, then go full throttle to exit. It'll feel like you're about to come off into the gravel, but that dip at the bottom of the hill will give you a mass of traction just in time to keep you on the track. Feels great when you get it right.

Surely this is the final step for you to make an F1 styled rim with the screen, the rev leds, buttons and paddles.

A tip for those with 3D printers that would be printing a case is to include a 0.1mm or 0.2mm layer in front of the LEDs instead of the Perspex cover, this would act as a filter and reduce glare.
They also look cool because the LEDs are only visible when switched on. If you're worrying that the LEDs are not bright enough to shine through the layer, don't be, as a matter of fact I only use 5% brightness on Simhub with the 3D printed layer in front of the LEDs. It is best for the LED's to be in direct contact with the layer for the best result.

@0:27 I'm building my own dash, and I need to solder 3 of those 8 led boards together and I'm wondering what that metal rod you put between is. Is it solder wire or something else?
