It was many years ago that I found your channel, I subscribed and never saw more than 2 minutes out of your videos. I dreamed about developing games as many teenagers do, but my mental health always got the best out of me. I ended up dropping out of college, got a job and sign up for a class to learn game development on the side but wasn't able to keep up with both at the same time, and at the end the bills are more pressing than any dream.

Through all of that your videos would always show up on my feed and from time to time I would pass to check what you were on to. Always reminding me of that dream I had back when I was just a kid messing up with mods. Never being brave enough to actually give it a try, don't wanting to fail again. Now is the first time in god knows how long that I actually have and feel enough stability in my life to sit down and follow one of your tutorials.

Any chance you will have a Tutorial on basic 2D platformer that has run, jump and crouch (duck down) like in the first mario bros game? Ive been trying to build a game like Mario, castlevania or even contra side scrolling shooting game. im realizing Unity Youtubers hardly ever show movement tutorials where crouch or even maybe a sliding move is added in like a mega man game
