Показать описание
Jason Owens sets out in the 441hp Exomotive Exocet Sport for the second session of the 2017 UTCC at VIR. Unfortunately our session was cut short due to an oil leak which you can observe towards the end of the video. We look forward to next year!
Exomotive brings their LS3-powered Exocet Sport V8 to the 2017 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge presented by Grassroots Motorsports during Hyperfest 2017 held by NASA Mid-Atlantic at VIRginia International Raceway on May 19, 2017.
Known as “XP-5” internally, this car is the fifth in Exomotive’s line of experimental prototype vehicles and represents the first LS3-powered example of the popular Mazda Miata-based Exocet component vehicle platform. Powered by a GM Performance LS3 crate engine tuned and dynoed at 441hp and 436ft-lbs by DIYAutoTune featuring the new MS3Pro Evo engine management system. T56 6-speed transmission and Getrag CTS-V rear differential. Weighs in at 1690 pounds with a full tank of fuel and all fluids. Setup by United Speed Racing and Gran Turismo East. Driven by Jason Owens. Big thanks to V8Roadsters, Tie Down Engineering, Industrial Laser Solutions, and Omega Tek. This was a great first test with the new setup and the car has plenty more in it. We look forward to breaking the 2:00 mark next year.
