Yup. For me the most enjoyable parts of the movie were, oddly, all the stuff that happened BEFORE the actual action plot began (right around the storm on the ship).

Good actress choice for playing the rebooting character, for those don't know this movie is based upon the reboot series, mostly on the game of 2013 and a bit of "Thhe Rise of Tomb raider".

It's been 3 years and this is still an incredible scene the movie easily is pretty good I think a lot people misinterpreted the movie because of the fact it wasn't tomb raider and technically they aren't wrong it's based of 2013 game which was made as an origin story which later evolved into the survival era so of anything its a lara croft movie but that being said I've seen people say this is nothing like tomb raider and a lot of characters and scenes in this movie were ripped from the 2013 game and apparently the 2nd movie is still in the works after being delayed indefinitely would be interesting to see if they continue taking heavy inspiration from the games and if that's the case how do they handle Ana going forward

I wish they had of brought her friends on the boat like the video game, I loved the mix of personalities, felt like this movie was missing that vibe.

Who else thinks She looks like the Gorgeous Nadine Garner (Henderson Kids) when She puts that Bike Hat on. I used to play this game on my Raleigh Chopper In the 70's Real Game.
