So have the Liberals told us what they're going to specifically do with all that new tax money to actually "save the planet." I haven't heard a thing. Would it be put in a general gov fund and end up being used for other things?

He forgot the part of how much industry has to pay, and the jobs that are lost when industry moves out of the taxed region. Why not just legislate pollution controls, like they've been doing? The carbon tax is just another money grab by incapable governments. A carbon tax that promises to rebate more than you paid in the tax itself, is going to be even worse for the taxpayer as there's a tremendous administrative cost to implementing this tax -all to be covered by you know who, the taxpayer.
