Ultimate Wyvern Slayer Guide in Old School Runescape

Welcome to the first of many Slayer Guides that I will be adding to the channel in the future to come. Slayer is definitely my favorite skill in Old School Runescape so I had to start making guides on the skill that I absolutely love, it felt right to start with a Skeletal Wyvern Guide since it was the first guide on this channel. Skeletal Wyverns are great for making money at a decent slayer level and there are plenty of different methods towards killing them as well. In this video I will include Range setups, mage setups, and melee setups along with what to expect, how to get there, and much more. Great guide. As a note. If anyone wanna camp these with an alt or main for gp, joining wyverncc is a great cc to sell unstackables and buy supplies like food and range potions. People that camp here generaly use the ranged safespot method and we recommend either amethyst or broad bolts if you are gonna be here a long time. It is great as an alt account and super afk. Also, if you are a low lvl and just starting out, you can work as a runner for some starting gp. Love from the wyverncc community :)

I've ranged camped a lot of wyverns and I mean a lot.
Some optimizations I have are;
- To save more invo space I bring a bolt pouch(saves 1 slot), seed box (saves 1 slot), herb sack and rune pouch with mind runes, nature runes and a free slot for soul runes.
- Smoke staff to splash to go afk etc and to alch
- If you have a dhcb elite void provides more dps over arma according to bitterkoekje dps calc
To start I only bring 2 prayer pots and 2 range pots, when you start a trip pray range and attack your wyvern 1 tile closer until you lose aggro. Easier than trying to safespot too early and pulling aggro from the other wyverns. Aggro timer lasts about the same as a single dose of range pot. After that i swap prayer pots into rigour.
- You can have an alt with a full invo of ranged pots standing outside the cave and 1 tile to the side. If the camping account leaves the cave but doesnt move any further, you do not reset aggro. You can also give the alt your rdt items.
-Dragonstone bolts are a good mid way between dia(e) and ddia(e) in terms of dps. Yes the special works, the wyverns count as a cold monster or something I dunno it just does.
- dia(e) bolts are more profit/hour whereas ddia(e) is more xp/hour

Just got my 2nd task with these guys after having been doing slayer for a few months non stop and getting nothing but steel dragons and those spinny snek thingies under blue volcano. There aren't any bots or gold farmers as of right now (summer 2023). It's such a nice breath of fresh air.

If you cant afford the acb for range i think that a dragon xbow should work its not much better then a rune xbow but the bolts do help out a bit

quick note if u have salve graveyard tele in ur house thats still faster than tele'ing to rimmington. and it's just good to have. it's like 10s slower than a house fairy ring which is very useful if u wont have the money / materials for 80/82 con for a while

Make a 2020/2021 Barrows guide. It’s classic runescape content and there’s been a lot of new gear and items released the past couple of years that may have affected the meta that outdated guides from 2018 and prior cover.

My route currently pretty usefull if your making multiple runs:
POH -> Prayer restore -> Kharyl teleport -> bank -> Fairy ring next to canifis
