Mit dem McLaren MP4-12C GT3 meldet sich der erfolgreiche Formel 1-Rennstall aus Woking zurück in der GT-Szene. In diesem Webspecial nehmen wir Platz im Fahrzeug von Gemballa Racing und verfolgen den ehemaligen F1-Piloten Pedro Lamy in der Startphase zum 6h-Ruhrpokal Rennen.

Great lap!! i thought mp4-12c had 7 gear, but it seems they changed it to a fully 6 with longer 1st. The Wheel is awesome, i just love nordschleife and nurburgring gp, is the most exciting track ever.

The Standart Streetcar have 7 Gear, thats a GT3 Racecar and 6 Gears are Maximumm in the Reglement.
But even if, the Gear Ratios of the Streetcars have nothig to do with those Race Gear Ratios.
GT3 Cars have very close Ratios the 1st is to 120Kmh and the 6th ends at 280Kmh, Streetcars have very wide Ratios so every Normal Person come Clear with the Car. If you would drive on Nürburgring with a Stock Ratio the 1st, 2nd and 7th Gear would be useless.
