Eddy acts so encouraging but deep down he doesnt truly want brett to have perfect pitch cause he knows it will be the end of his biggest flex

The way Eddy's turning that book on his finger is pretty impressing.

I just watched two guys near their 30s singing and making and identifying random noises and I totally consider that quality content.
Btw I really admire Brett's determination of getting the perfect pitch...that's been sooo many videos on it...

The way Editor-san was like "alright we're done here, cut the video" when Brett guessed that last note wrong 🤣 moment of praise for TwoSet's behind the scene team that make the videos even lively and fun.

Brett was so adorable in this video, Eddy was like a supportive dad and Brett is a child who just learned a new skill

Brett's hearing is tuned to A=415, that's why he hears everything a semitone higher.

Don't forget everyone, you can have relative pitch if you don't have perfect pitch! Which I think Brett has since the start.

11:58 ~ I love Eddie's and Brett's surprised reaction at how quickly Brett answered the correct note here. That was so cool.

What I learned from TwoSet:
C#=Constipated poop
C = Normal Poop
Cb= Diarrhea

I love how they are just joking around the entire time, and not taking this super seriously. Makes in more entertaining.

I think now I’ve achieved perfect pitch, but first it started off as “memory pitch”. Whenever I sang something, I’d always sing it in the same key I heard it, so I just associated different pieces with different notes. G was John Williams’ Imperial March (though for you Twosetters, the first soloist note of the Sibelius concerto might work better :) ). A was a solo from an obscure musical I was in. B flat was the Star Wars Theme etc…

As someone who has worked with artists who draw for W*k*How, I'd like to point out that the art is not being made by the article writer. The artists just get the numbered steps and we just draw every drawing in an article for less than a day's shift. It's taxing and there's not much QA going on in the drawings. If it roughly fits the article, the drawings are sent to the middle man that sends them to W*k*How.

A long time ago there was a girl I knew who played violin in our high school orchestra, Linda O., who said she had perfect pitch. I said I didn't believe her, that true perfect pitch was extremely rare. I put her up to a challenge. With her back to me and me seated at a piano, I played a mish-mash of 10 random piano keys at once. Pure noise to me. No chords, just whatever keys my fingers happened to hit. I then repeated the same notes but left out the B natural just below middle C which my thumb had played. I couldn't even hear any difference in sound. This was back in the 1960s, when the larger high schools had school orchestras. I was good enough to play the first movement of the Grieg Piano Concerto with the school orchestra, but always let the piano tuner worry about pitch. I would joke that I play on the white keys and black keys but sing in the cracks. This was the hardest test I could think of to test her with. She immediately responded "the B below middle C". This is now over 50 years later. I am still flabbergasted at her ability. To me, this is true perfect pitch. I came to understand what true composers like Beethoven must have had. Ultimately, I decided it best to leave music to the really good musicians and switched my field of study to engineering.

Every time I hear Brett phonate I want to hear what he'd sing like with a bit of training. His voice has such a natural soothing timbre.

Now I can practice perfect pitch 40 hours every day listening to sirens, sounds of bombs falling and planes flying

He's frequently identifying flat, so clearly he's just tuned to 415.
