Unity is not worth it, I hated it since 2018 when they started reengineering the engine with mostly unfinished features, Godot can get better and reach Unity 2017 level within few years which is good enough for most indie games, if you want something better go for Unreal.

Good vid. I also feel badly for asset market devs who had absolutely no say in Unity's top brass' decision to launch the company off a cliff. They picked up the slack were Unity's core sorely fell behind now they get punished for investing their time and effort in Unity too. What a mess.

How is Unity tracking app installs on mobile platforms? Also, now that I'm thinking about it, does this policy also run afoul of App Store monetization rules? I'm sure Apple and Google's teams would love to know.
